Soon as we came of age, we discovered it also defines the place we now call home in Dekalb County, Tennessee. Life moves a little slower here, the neighbors are friendly, there when you need them, otherwise keep to themselves. Honeysuckle fills the air, bluebirds sing from the fence post, ....You can spend an afternoon hiking, fishing or working the garden, and end the day in your favorite rocking chair on the porch, taking in the view. Small town values, and rural charms, open spaces where dogs still run free. It’s all here. If you’re looking for a great place to call home, raise a family, a destination to retire or relocate, or a few secluded acres for your own rural retreat, welcome to DeKalb County, TN. Houses, building lots, land, farms—all the comforts of country living are affordable here. Residents for more than 30 years, we’ve walked and traveled the hills and hollers, springs and creeks. And I know there are others looking for the rural charms and easy pace which held us here all these years. That’s why I’m focusing my real estate efforts on the parts of Dekalb County, and surrounding area, I know best: Snows Hill and its environs, the towns of Dowelltown, LIberty Alexandria and quite country hamlets with names like Cottage Home and Temperance Hall. I’ve tried to make this website a resource about our part of Middle Tennessee and local real estate, whether you already live here or are interested in buying or selling property in any of these towns or out in the surrounding countryside.
